Welcome to Middle School! 

Dear Sixth Grade Families,

Middle School is a special time for your children as they transition from elementary school to Junior High, and as they begin this journey, they will experience much social, emotional, and academic growth.

 Throughout this year, priority will be placed on the following:

• Guiding your children toward greater independence

• Being an advocate for themselves and taking ownership of their learning

• Developing strong study skills and habits as foundations for high school

As your children begin their middle school journey, we are committed to guiding and supporting them so when they leave sixth grade, they will be prepared to move through the next two years of middle school with confidence and independence.
